Accreditation Information

Ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement of educational activities is important in order to gain significant advantages such as contributing to the improvement of the quality of vocational education received by students enrolled in the Home Patient Care Program of the Health Care Services Department at Pazar Vocational School of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, and making our program more preferred by students.

Within the framework of Türkiye's strategic development plans, and with the encouragement and support of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) was established in 2021 to contribute to a qualified workforce and to improve the qualifications of vocational schools and their graduates. As an authorized accreditation center for vocational schools, MEDEK is authorized in the field of accreditation and contributes to shaping the qualified workforce of the future by certifying that vocational school programs comply with established standards, quality criteria, and performance metrics.

Accreditation is an evaluation and external quality assurance process that measures whether the relevant higher education program meets the academic and field-specific standards predetermined by the Council of Higher Education. Therefore, associate degree program accreditation is a tool for academic quality, transparency, and accountability. Accreditation of associate degree programs significantly contributes to the advancement of societal well-being by training better-educated and more qualified technicians who understand current and developing technologies.

MEDEK accreditation can provide significant advantages to graduates in finding employment.
